Not sure if your mom ever used Campho Phenique on you when you were a kid, but it's good for healing all sorts of skin and ear ailments. This tree is what the oil is made from. It has a distinct, pungent smell that you will remember well, if you were ever "doctored" with the stuff. No, it's not that strong, here, but you'll definitely recognize it. This beautiful piece has a deep, smoky, rich tone. It is fragile. It's not a "toy". It's also not for beginners or folks with small hands. (See measurements below.) I will ship this one in a hard case. However, I am sure it will find someone who can appreciate a "medicine flute" such as this. The last one I made lives in China, now. The Camphor Burl is not easy to come by. I've only had two opportunities in my life to obtain this wood. I know the right person is out there. You can listen to the sound samples, below.
