Rare Rosewood from Brazil
Kingwood Inlaid F#m Native American Style Drone Flute
Kingwood, a true rosewood from the Atlantic forests in Brazil. It has been the wood of Kings for hundreds of years in Europe and England. This rare wood has been used for furniture, cabinets, instruments, and fine articles and graced the halls of many opulent locations. It is quite rare and a piece big enough to make an instrument of this size doesn't come cheap. I was lucky enough to find a board big enough to make a couple of drones. This is one. The pictures look good, but in real life, this wood is stunning. I also like the 3D effect of the inlay. Judge for yourself. Listen to the sound files, below, to hear this flute. Thank you for looking.
